Privacy Policy

Clipping Atlas (“we”) operates clippingatlas.xyz, a directory of paid clipping campaigns. This page explains what personal data we handle, why, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run accounts and billing, we use privacy-conscious EU-hosted analytics, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
Account data. When you sign up (Google sign-in or email magic link), we store your email address and basic profile information needed to operate your account.
Billing data. Payments for the Pro plan are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles it and shares only a subscription status and a customer reference with us.
Usage data. We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand how the product is used: pages viewed, features clicked, approximate location derived from IP. We do not sell this data or use it for third-party advertising.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) keep short-lived server logs (IP address, request path) for security and debugging.
What we use it for
Operating your account and subscription, keeping the service secure, understanding aggregate usage to improve the product, and contacting you about your account (transactional email only — no marketing without explicit opt-in).
Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of processors: Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics, EU region), Vercel (hosting), and Google (OAuth sign-in, if you choose it). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication sessions and a PostHog cookie for analytics. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted on account deletion request. Billing records are retained as long as required by accounting law. Analytics data is retained per PostHog's standard retention and is not tied to any advertising profile.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, and object to or restrict processing. Email hello@clippingatlas.xyz and we will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, for significant changes affecting account holders, notify you by email. The current version always lives at clippingatlas.xyz/privacy.
