Our Data & Methodology

Reviewed June 12, 2026

Where the data comes from

Automated scrapers visit the public campaign listings of the 9 platforms we track — Whop (Content Rewards), Reach.cat, Vyro, ClipAffiliates, Clipping.net, Promote.fun, Findclout, ClipStake and ClipHaven — on scheduled jobs that run every hour. Each run collects every public live campaign and normalizes its CPM/RPM, budget, fee and payout terms into one database. Every figure on the site is server-rendered from that database; nothing is typed in by hand.

A campaign that disappears from its source listing is flagged inactive on the next run. Fully-funded and expired campaigns are filtered out, so counts and averages only reflect campaigns you could actually join.

How metrics are computed

CPM
Advertised dollars per 1,000 views, as stated by the campaign.
Average CPM
The mean CPM across all live campaigns in scope.
Median CPM
The middle value. We lead with it because it better reflects a typical campaign — the mean is skewed upward by premium finance and crypto outliers.
Take-home CPM
CPM after the platform's clipper-side fee, which ranges from 0% to 25%.

You can see all of these live on the CPM benchmarks page, and per platform on the platform ranking.

Freshness model

Pages revalidate hourly (incremental static regeneration), so the numbers you see were computed from the most recent scrape. A “live” badge next to a figure means exactly that: it comes from the current database state, not from an editor's estimate.

Prose works differently. Articles carry a fixed “reviewed” date that tells you when a human last checked the words, while the embedded numbers keep refreshing hourly. The two are deliberately separated: a review date should never imply the data is that old, and live data should never imply the analysis was rewritten an hour ago.

Fee verification policy

Most clipper-side fees are verified directly from platform documentation. Where a platform does not publish its fee — for example ClipStake — the figure we show is an estimate and is labeled as such on the page. When a platform changes or publishes a fee, we update the canonical figure and the take-home CPMs computed from it.

Neutrality & funding

We run none of the platforms we track, and we have no commercial relationship with any of them. No platform pays for placement; rankings are computed from data only. The site is funded by a Pro subscription for clippers — never by placement fees. More on who we are on the about page.

Limitations

Honest data means honest caveats:

  • We only see publicly listed campaigns. Private or invite-only deals are not in our data.
  • Advertised CPM is not a guarantee. A platform can reject your clip or withhold a payout; we report what campaigns advertise, not what every clipper receives.
  • Platforms can change fees, payout terms and rules without notice. We refresh hourly, but a figure can be briefly out of date between runs.

Corrections policy

If you find an error — a wrong fee, a stale campaign, a mislabeled payout term — email hello@clippingatlas.xyz. We verify against the source and ship corrections within days.
